The Ashbourne Singers is a community choir whose aim is to encourage people of all abilities who would like to sing in a friendly and supportive group and to provide learning and performance opportunities.
The choir was formed following a singing workshop held by Linda Perry Smith as part of the 2007 Ashbourne Festival and started singing together in September 2007 under the musical direction of Linda.
We sing a diverse repertoire of music from classical, musical theatre, folk, pop and jazz.
The Ashbourne Singers is open to anyone aged 18 and over. No audition required.
It is a non profit making organisation with its own constitution and a committee which meets regularly to oversee and manage the affairs of the choir.
