Workshop and concert 21st February 2009
This was a new experience for many of the singers when Stephen Hope, a guest conductor, came to spend the day improving and adding expression to their performance. Linda Perry Smith had been rehearsing the choir through selected songs for the day, forming the basic music, but leaving the final touches for Stephen.
In the evening, friends and family were invited to attend a short concert of the work, in the hall at St. Oswald’s church.
Dashing away with the smoothing iron and a medley of Rodgers and Hammerstein songs were amongst those performed.
